Please consider supporting Tom and Margarita in any way you can. In less than a year, Margarita was diagnosed with breast cancer and has been undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments since June. She has faced this battle with incredible strength, but the harsh effects of treatment have prevented her from working.

As if this challenge wasn’t enough, while caring for his wife, Tom began experiencing health issues of his own. In December, he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). The roles have reversed—while Tom once cared for Margarita, she now cares for him while still needing treatment.

Tom’s condition has progressed rapidly since he first noticed symptoms seven months ago. He can no longer walk, stand, drink, or feed himself without assistance. Their journey has been incredibly difficult, and they need all the support they can get during this heartbreaking time.

We are looking into a communication board, a motorized wheelchair, and a lift chair.
