Support Tom & Ale: Getting thru tough times due to fire

Hi Ditmas Park community,

My roommate and I have been affected by a recent fire in our apartment building and our kitchen is severely destroyed. We don’t know how long the repair will take, and meanwhile, we would appreciate any donation you can make so that we can buy food and necessary kitchen equipment to take us through this difficult time in the winter.

We are both working multiple jobs and we barely make ends meet. So anything you can spare would mean a lot to us. We are two women of color who are working hard every day to be independent. But this fire threw us a curveball…
