A Clemson Fan's fight with terminal brain cancer
Donation protected
Three years ago, our Clemson brother was informed he had brain cancer. When given the news, it was a shock, but Thomas Talbert took that diagnosis and turned it into a positive fight. Going through chemo and then surgery, Tom kept his positive attitude. He was given good news at his first scan post-op surgery, but sadly on his second scan the cancer was back and more vicious. Still Tom kept his positive attitude and was ready for the battle ahead of him. Due to the type of brain cancer he had the surgeons could not guarantee his outcome this time or if they could save his eye. Well, Tom made it through surgery but lost his eye. Still positive attitude. About three weeks ago Tom went back for his post-op scan. Sadly, it was not good news. Tom was sadly given the news he never wanted to hear. His cancer is back and this time he was told he is terminal.
Through all of this Tom has never asked for help and he still hasn't to this day. Now being totally disabled and terminal Tom is not able to work. He has applied for disability, but we all know how our government works....slow. With medical bills piling up, basic daily needs, and groceries Tom needs our help.
If you can afford to donate to help Tom, it will be greatly appreciated. We know times are hard for all of us and we understand if you can't help at the moment. Sending prayers will be accepted too.
Still through three years of a fight, Tom has never wavered from his faith or his positive attitude. Continue Tom to fight and remember what Coach Dabo Swinney told you, "Your are not terminal, Your are Eternal".
