Hi! My name is Janet Johnston and this is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. My family is no stranger to hard times and struggles. This past year came with the biggest hit of all. My wonderful husband of 30

years was diagnosed with ALS. His business struggled as his health declined We got seriously behind on bills as we tried to figure out what was happening to him only to get the devastate answer on January 3, 2024. Well we were trying to

navigate all his limitations we became more in debt and needed so many things. Our home is in constant need of adjustments for him to remain home with me and well insurance covers some it it is constant battle with insurance every step. And with me already disabled and trying to get him approved for benefits we have had to

make do on some things. We faced the prospect of moving to solves things but as most know we have a lot of animals and really couldn’t face having to rehome any.

Now we are at a point were we are so far behind we may lose our home and still

have to re-home our fur babies. We are currently looking into options for housing but really want to stay in our home. Funds hopefully can make that happen and help make our home more accessible for Todd so we can remain in our house. If that ends up not being an option then we will use funds to get us in a place where we can live out our lives together. Thank you for a thoughts and prayers.
