We are reaching out to our community to rally around one of our own, Todd Weatherhead, a devoted father, friend, coach and all-around incredible man. Todd was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) in November of 2023. Todd is a proud 1992 graduate of Winchester Community High School where he played football all four years. He went on to Work at Champion in Ridgeville and recently worked at Silfex, in Eaton Ohio, earning a reputation as a hardworking, dependable, and a caring individual wherever he went.
But what truly sets Todd apart is the impact he has made outside his work as a coach, mentor and volunteer. He has coached little league softball for his daughter Paige, baseball and football for his son Aidan, and continued his love of the game by coaching middle school football and volunteering for years to run the chains at Winchester Community High School football games. His dedication to our youth and to our community has touched so many lives. Todd has always showed up for others and now it is time for us to show up for him and his family.
ALS is a devastating disease, and while Todd and his family are showing incredible strength and grace, the road ahead is full of challenges. We are raising funds to help support the Weatherhead family with medical expenses, mobility needs and everyday living costs as they navigate this difficult journey.
Any contribution no matter how big or small will make a difference. If you are unable to give, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping Todd and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Together, we can help ease some of the burden for this amazing family and show them just how much this community cares.
