Todd Marsh’s entire identity was being a dad. He was deeply flawed, as we all are, but his children—Michael, Jude, Alex, and John—were more important to him than anything else in his life. Todd’s love for his kids shaped every day, and they stood by him through every challenge, especially in his final days.
On Thanksgiving, Todd suffered a ruptured cerebral aneurysm and was rushed to NY Presbyterian hospital. After a courageous fight, he passed away today, leaving his children heartbroken and facing overwhelming financial challenges. Todd had no will, no assets, and no life insurance. Michael (28), Jude (26), Alex (26), and John (23) are now responsible for all the expenses related to their father’s passing. Michael and John, who lived with their dad, must find a new place to live, and Michael’s job was suddenly and permanently closed just yesterday, adding to the uncertainty. All four children have accumulated debt just to spend time with their dad in the hospital, and they do not even have enough money at this time to have their father’s body taken from the hospital for cremation.
We are asking for your support to help Todd’s children honor their father’s memory and give him a dignified farewell. Any contribution will make a difference during this difficult time. Your kindness will help cover the costs of cremation, burial, moving expenses, and relieve the debt the children have taken on to be with their father. Thank you for considering a donation to help this family in their time of need.
