Todd Lark was diagnosed with very aggressive stage IV colon cancer that metastasized to the liver at the end of October 2024. Bozeman Deaconess have placed two ports, performed various surgeries, and started chemotherapy in early December with Y90 Microsphere Therapy and Radio Embolization beginning late January and February 2025.
Todd has worked for non profits his entire working life. From training and coaching people with disabilities in a real world workshop; teaching art at the Lewistown Public Library, Lewistown Art Center and the Lewistown Boys and Girls Club, collaborating with over 47 different public school districts across the state advocating for appropriate and creative technology usage performing deep data dives with a plethora of administrative teams, teachers, and students driving excellence at every level. Todd feels that love, engagement and dedication is a rich reward and feels very rewarded indeed.
In his civic life, Todd has volunteered and contributed to many local, state and national non-profits, including: coaching 3 Special Olympics adult state champ Bocce teams; creating performing art spaces for local musicians and artists to explore and perform; advocating for trails and the various iterations of the Lewistown skate park; coaching 2 state championship soccer teams (U19 boys as an assistant and U16 boys as head coach), as well as coaching youth soccer for many years at all levels; donating performance to various non profits; co founding the Madison Aquifer Alliance to ensure our water is clean and safe for consumers and producers alike; contributing board member of the Yellowstone Boys and Girls Club; advocating for Public Education as a legislative advocate with SAMMT (School Administrators of Montana); and generally lending a hand where he could and still can wherever he lands.
Todd is unable to work for the foreseeable future while he is receiving chemotherapy and radiation treatments and has burned through his small savings.
Although Todd has been approved for a medical grant and has support from family and friends, there is a crippling amount of medical bills from the multiple MRIs and CTs, biopsies, surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation treatments, and, the travel and lodging to sustain these treatments.
If you find it in your heart to donate and/or share to support Todd so he can focus on healing and recovering, your gift and grace is beyond helpful and greatly appreciated.
Extended thanks from Todd and his family for your positive vibes and support during this difficult time.
