Help Honor Todd Fleischhauer — A Healer Who Never Stopped Caring
It is with deep sadness, yet heartfelt gratitude, that we share that Todd passed away on the morning of January 26, 2026 at 5:37 a.m.
Todd touched countless lives—personally, professionally, and especially through his patients. He didn’t just provide care; he gave dignity, comfort, and genuine human connection. Colleagues admired his dedication, friends cherished his warmth, and patients felt truly seen by him. He was the kind of healer who remembered your story, checked on you after hours, and made you laugh when you were afraid.
Todd was a Family Nurse Practitioner and ER nurse turned men’s-health and wellness specialist who helped thousands of people live better, fuller lives. He served communities from California to Washington and was a fierce advocate within Chicago’s gay community—fighting stigma, promoting PrEP and HIV care, and showing up for anyone who needed him. Caring for others wasn’t just his profession; it was who he was.
Todd’s mother and father will dearly miss their beloved son—his humor, his pride, and his deep capacity for love. His passing leaves an immeasurable void, but his legacy will live on in every life he touched. Though we grieve, we also celebrate the joy, kindness, and generosity he shared so freely. His memory will guide us to live fully and love deeply, just as he did.
We ask that you please continue sending your love and support to Todd’s mother, father, and loved ones during this unimaginable time. Funds raised will now go toward supporting his family with medical expenses, travel, and end-of-life costs, and to help ease the burden they are carrying.
If Todd ever cared for you, supported you, made you feel seen, or helped someone you love, please consider donating or sharing this page. Your support—whether financial, through sharing, or simply through love—means more than words can express.
Rest peacefully, Todd. Your healing spirit lives on.
