This is Matt Balm, I am a friend of Toby and Summer Friesen, I also manage an artist named Jeremy Camp. We collectively wanted to setup this go fund me for Toby and his family who need immediate financial assistance as you will read below. The funds raised here will be used to cover all the consultations, labs, procedures, diagnoses and treatment from Mayo clinic as well as outstanding bills from past hospital visits and lost income. Toby has been a cherished friend and musician, playing guitar on tour for Jeremy Camp for 15 years. His joyful spirit, peace-bringing presence, and encouraging nature have made a lasting impact on everyone who knows him. Toby is married to Summer, the true rockstar of the family, and together they have three wonderful children. Their family has always been a source of light and support to those around them, and now they need our help.

Over the past six months, Toby's health has taken a dramatic turn. Once an athlete who played full-court basketball, he now faces unexplained nightly high fevers, extreme fatigue, and GI issues that have left him needing wheelchair assistance just to get through the airport. Despite four hospitalizations, his symptoms have persisted, leaving his family searching for answers. Thankfully, Toby has been accepted for testing at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, where he will begin the journey toward a diagnosis and future treatments. However, due to pre-existing conditions, Toby does not have traditional insurance, and all of the Mayo Clinic expenses will need to be paid out-of-pocket. On top of this, Summer has had to cut back on her self-employed work to care for Toby, adding to the financial strain.

We are reaching out to our community to rally around Toby and his family.
