Hi everyone! My name is Liz. I am a mom cat of 4 babies. One of my babies, Tobey, has been very sick for the past year and a half. He's been to our local vet on numerous occasions with what started as a mouth sore. The numerous steroids/antibiotics only helped him for a short time. After many vet visits and not much improvement, Tobey had bloodwork done and the vet said that he has Eosinophilic Granuloma. This is a solid grouping of inflammatory cells growing together in a lump or solid structure. The inflammation of lumps are in his throat which causes pain and prevents him from enjoying his wet/dry food. The vets don't know the cause of the lumps in his throat/mouth, so Tobey is having a biopsy procedure to find the cause of this. His procedure and follow-up appointments are estimated to be $2,000. I am searching for a second job to be able to afford the care for him, but at the moment, I cannot afford to pay for this crucial procedure. I appreciate your generosity/kindness, and I thank you for taking the time to read Tobey's story.
