Support to Rebuild Lambi Queen
Donation protected

Lambi Queen is a long standing bar in Carriacou, loved by kayaks, tourists and the cruising community in the Carribean. Built up by Sherwin and Edwin (cigarette!) over the past 20+years. Friday nights brings the whole community together with live music Lambi fritters, and a cold rum punch.
On the 1st July 2024 our beautiful island was hit by a category 5 hurricane beryl, decimating the island. Taking the roof and destroying the beloved bar.
Sherwin is desperate to rebuild the bar quickly to be open as soon as possible. Please help him to rebuild better and more resilient, over the bar is open again sherwin can provide employment and nice again be the hub for the community that Lambi Queen has been for the past 20 years.
I am Sophia, Sherwin’s partner, and together we have our five year old daughter Seren who has grown up toddling round the bar and dancing to the bands on Friday nights! I am from England, but I have made Carriacou my home and a place for us to raise our children.
We’ll use the money raised to ensure the buildings are structurally sound with a strong roof, and to purchase any equipment needed.
We’ll buy our materials in Carriacou where possible, to support our local businesses and use local tradespeople and labourers. We have always supported other businesses on the island and now it’s important to do that even more. Sherwin and I love this community, and want to see it flourish again.
I am in Carriacou right now and will be supporting sherwin to rebuild the bar.
