Support to help Marie and Liam

Hi, my name is Dawn and I am raising money to help my friend (who is like my sister) and her son, my nephew Liam.

As some of you may now be aware, on Friday Marie went from being on a high from booking a holiday for her birthday, to two hours later getting the devastating news that her first born son Liam who is only 21 years old, a young,healthy,clean living lad, doesn’t drink or smoke has Stage 4 Lung cancer.

Liam is at university in Wales and obviously Marie wants to be at hospital appointments and spend time with him to support him through this difficult time.

Marie doesn’t want to ask for any help but anyone that knows her, knows she goes out of her way to help anyone she can. She has give me permission to do this.

So the money will be used on travel expenses from chorley to Bangor and hotels, possibly rent money as Liam was going to get a job over the summer to pay this but will be unable to do this now or whatever else they need.

We are also looking at possible CBD treatments which are quite expensive too.

you may have noticed that when I originally made this, I put stage 3/4 Lung cancer it has now been confirmed that it is stage 4

So, after speaking with the family and close friends and with Liams permission, I have changed the target amount, as you all know the cost of living is terrible at the moment and the original amount won’t last long. So this will help support Liam, Marie and Corey through this difficult time.
