Support for Medical Bills, Funeral Costs, and Children

JUNE 2024 UPDATE: Bedeania has been fighting cancer since spring of 2023 when she first started chemotherapy and radiation. Unfortunately the chemo and radiation only work about 50% and her next option was an extreme surgery to remove all organs and tissues affected by the cancer. That is when she decided to try a natural alternative method with a really great doctor that was the original intent for this GoFundMe page to help with those costs. Unfortunately she had secondary health issues that she wasn't able to complete the alternative therapy. She then decided to do the surgery to help save her life. The Surgery was 100% successful at the time, all the cancer was removed and Bedeania was slowly recovering and gaining her strength back. She was getting ready for another surgery to increase her quality of life to reverse some of the previous procedure that she underwent. Sadly that is when they found that the cancer came back and showed up in other parts of the body. Over the last few weeks the cancer has been growing rapidly and spreading. She has lost so much weight and strength they are no longer able to continue any type of treatment for her, they tried 5 sessions of radiation to try and stop the spread but the cancer is just continuing to grow. She is now on comfort care to focus on her quality of life, she has gone through so much!

We are now transitioning this GoFundMe page to help pay for end of life care, funeral costs, and any other end of life costs that arise. Anything left over will then be left for her 3 children; Ethan, Emma, and James.

It is heartbreaking that we have to update this GoFundMe for this purpose. Bedeania is currently in the hospital getting care and keeping her comfortable over the remaining time. Her spirits are high and is still her beautiful soul that many of you have come to know and love about her! Her time on this earth is not much longer and we ask for prayers for the time she has left here.

We continue to ask for prayers for a miracle and sending positive energy to herself, family, and friends to keep us all strong during these tough times.

ORIGINAL STORY: It's with a heavy heart for me to ask for financial assistance currently due to my fight against Cervical Cancer and the struggles of managing my health and staying employed as a therapist. For those that don’t know me, I’m Bedeania Zurek. I just turned 47 and I’m a single mother of 3.

I was diagnosed with cervical cancer in the winter of 2022 and did a 3-month long treatment program in the spring of 2023 that consisted of Chemo once a week and radiation every day since I was not a candidate for surgery because of the size of my tumor. I was feeling hopeful but after a period of waiting to see how my body responded to the treatment, I just got the terrible news that my cancer had only initially reduced partially and has grown since treatment ended. My doctors concluded that my cancer became radiation resistant at some point which is very rare. They are now suggesting I get the most radical surgery of a Pelvic Exenteration Surgery that would remove multiple organs in my pelvic region that would drastically change my quality of life moving forward.

With that being said, I am going to try an alternative natural treatment plan that consists of supplements, medications, and a dietary regime that has been shown to greatly reduce or rid of cancer in patients in 3rd and 4th stages. Unfortunately, my health insurance will not cover this treatment plan, so I decided to start a GoFundMe page to try and help pay for the program costs. I am optimistic with focusing on God’s healing power and the power of our bodies and nature to try and help heal my body without having to remove multiple organs. I know times are tough financially for everyone but if you can contribute any amount, I will be forever grateful for your support to help get me through these tough times!
