Support bringing stability to a single mother in crisis

Dear Friends,

I am reaching out with a heartfelt plea to support a single mother of four who is facing unimaginable hardships. After experiencing a traumatic sexual assault, she lost her job and made the difficult decision to relocate herself and three of her children to seek a fresh start. However, due to the emotional and financial toll of the assault, including the long process of the criminal justice system, finding stable employment has proven nearly impossible.

Hoping for justice and closure, she withdrew all her savings from her 401k to provide for her children, expecting that the pending court trial would bring relief. Unfortunately, the trial has been postponed, leaving her in an overwhelming financial crisis. Recently, her bank account fell into the negative at -$2,996 after an unexpected medical bill, leaving her with no immediate resources to cover basic necessities.

Despite these hardships, she continues to hold on to her faith and trust in the Lord, spreading hope and kindness to those around her. In an effort to ensure the well-being of her children, she has humbly sought assistance through food stamps and has used credit cards to cover essential expenses, including therapy and medical care, such as a recent blood transfusion and iron infusions for one of her children, as well as ongoing mental health support for all three of her children and herself.

This courageous mother has done everything within her power to stay afloat, even selling her car to pay for critical needs. She has proactively reached out to creditors and service providers to negotiate payment plans, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to financial responsibility. However, the immediate financial needs have grown beyond her capacity to manage alone.

Her current outstanding obligations have surpassed $70,000, with an urgent need of $26,000 to cover pressing household expenses. Our goal with this request is to provide immediate relief and stability as she navigates this difficult time. No one and nothing can give her back her previous life full of contribution, professional stability, financial stability, mental/emotional/spiritual stability. I am just going to balance the adversary with the Lord's surplus and abundance of good through His children here on earth.

How You Can Help:

* Direct Donations: Any amount contributed will have a meaningful impact and provide immediate support for her household needs.

* Business Donations: If you own a business, please consider making a donation. I have no clue about tax write-offs, so seek advice from your tax advisor, but maybe it can be used for such.

* Garage Sale: An impromptu garage sale is being hosted today, with 100% of the proceeds going to her family.

* Book Sales: I raised the price of the book so that all proceeds from the book I Am... Sunshine will go directly to supporting her and her children. That means $3 from every sale will go to them.

She has often been compared to the biblical figure Job, having faced relentless trials over her life, being referenced as Job over 16 times within only the last 3 years. Could you imagine what life has been like for that many people to call her that without knowing anyone else has ever said it? Now, let’s come together to help turn the heartache of Job into the joys of Job for her and her family.
