Hi. Im Fiona Behr, a typical 21 year old. I moved into an apartment with my boyfriend and right off the bat, stray cats would come to our door. We have 2 cats of our own, and couldn’t bear the thought of the strays watching us feed our cats through our sliding glass door, hungry and alone. So, we started feeding them, and slowly, more and more started showing up, some even letting us pet them and walking into our home. We have grown to love them and it be apart of our daily routine to feed and see them. We didn’t really think about them reproducing until babies started showing up and now we had more and more mouths to feed. Jackson is in flight school full time, and I’m a server at a local restaurant. Along with all of our life expenses, we simply cannot afford to feed more cats. So, we have decided to band together, with the help of family and friends, to TNR. (Trap, neuter, release) The cost is too much for us alone, but with the help of our neighbors, and the community, we are hopeful to get this under control. So far, we have successfully trapped three five month old kittens and their mama. The surgeries went amazing! For each cat, it would be 90$. This includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, ear tip, and a flea/ parasite treatment.
