Support T.M.A Lady Panthers Basketball Team!

The Thurgood Marshall Academy Girls Varsity Basketball Team is seeking support for our 2024-2025 season. As our high school varsity season begins, our fundraising efforts start now. Our goal is to raise money through various donations for tournament fees, travel accommodations, team gear, college tour visits, equipment, and apparel expenses. This will enable our team to participate, compete, and gain prominent exposure for each athlete.

Our team will travel and compete throughout the state of New York and to different states to expand the level of exposure they receive from institutions of higher education and ideally explore the possibility of athletic scholarship offers.

At Thurgood Marshall Academy (TMA), we focus on Education and Service. While basketball serves as a way to encourage students to stay physically fit, our main goal is to use it as a path to help them prepare for college, potentially leading to athletic scholarships. Our student-athletes take part in various programs, such as Community Service Outreach and the National Honors Society, alongside their involvement in basketball.

Our program provides student-athletes with the opportunity to develop not only their athletic abilities but also their social and academic skills. We prioritize education both on and off the

court, community service, and gratitude. Our team philosophy reflects these values!
