We are the faces behind TLALLI, a Latin American Restaurant and Craft Cocktail Bar coming to Ashland, Oregon, this summer!

As the children of immigrant mothers, we are proud of our cultural heritage and the ancestral food knowledge passed down by our relatives.

TLALLI is an Indigenous Nahuatl word that means Earth; a living force, sustenance and spirit.

We feel passionate about preserving food practices like Nixtamalization, a Pre-Hispanic process of alkalizing corn into masa, making it more nutrient dense and digestible, as well as five thousand year old fermentation techniques.

We feature ancestral ingredients such as Organic non-GMO corn, cacao, amaranth, chia, chilis, avocado and squash. We strive to honor the ancestral ingredients in familiar dishes, while adding a modern twist, like handmade hot-pink tortillas!

Ancestral flavor meets modern creativity!

Freddie Herrera, owner and award-winning mixologist brings his ancestors, rooted in Guatemala and El Salvador, as well as his contemporary LA swag into his unique bar program. Freddie has over twenty years of experience starting and managing restaurants with a clear mission rooted in health and cultural preservation.

Naz Orescan Campos, owner and chef, takes her passion for health and healing through ancestral foods and transforms heirloom ingredients into vibrant offerings. Naz brings over twenty years of fine-dining experience to the table, recipes from her Mexican mother and the stories of her abuelita.

Manya Orescan Campos, owner and director of marketing and promotion, is a celebrated poet, educator and culture bearer who weaves art and storytelling into every corner of the space. Manya brings twenty years of front of house restaurant experience and learned how to make tortillas, round like the full moon, from her Mexican mother.

We are beyond excited to open our doors and invite you to share in a unique dining experience where every ingredient is a conversation with the earth.

We choose to rise up in love; love for our culture, our community, our earth, and in this current political climate, this is medicine.

It takes a lot of money to get a vision like this launched. We are inviting folks to contribute towards something extraordinary! No other restaurant in Ashland is offering this unique culinary experience. TALLI is so much more than a restaurant, it is about expanding cultural awareness and appreciation.

Contributions will go towards operating costs during the off season, developing our retail department and being part of a thriving economy where food is an expression of culture and connection.

Where every ingredient is a conversation with the earth.
