Support Titus' Battle Against Leukemia

Donation protected
Our son Titus has been diagnosed with t-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia, an aggressive type of blood cancer.

We thought Ty had low iron and was going to need his tonsils and adenoids removed. During a follow up appointment with his Primary Care Physician, she looked at Titus and told me we needed to get to the ER because he needed blood results faster than she could get them and asked if I was ok to drive. Happy Monday.

Titus weighed in at 28.8 lbs. and is going to transform over the next 28 days. He will lose his hair and gain wait. His growth will slow as he goes through 28 days of aggressive chemotherapy in his induction phase. After that, is unknown. It is a fluid situation and completely depends on how Titus responds to the treatments. His Oncologist has told us we could be back for treatments and follow up appointments for 10 to 15 years.

This news has been devastating for our family, and we are facing a challenging journey to come. Ty is a bright, loving, adventurous 3 year who brings so much joy to the world. He loves Iowa State, basketball, Transformers, dinosaurs, chocolate, and cookie dough. His favorite color is green, and his best friend is his big sister.

He deserves the best possible chance to overcome this disease and live a long and fulfilling life. Medical expenses are already mounting, including our initial hospital stay, two days in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and two days in Children’s Oncology at Blank Children’s Hospital.

Medications and required take home medical equipment, and ongoing care are going to add up as Mom and Dad will use FMLA to make sure Titus is taken care of and that big sister can keep her routine.

We are incredibly grateful for any support you can offer. Every contribution, no matter the size will make a significant difference in Titus’ fight. We trust in God’s plan and the path he has laid out before us. If you would like to help in other ways, we are encouraging, blood donations, and a meal train available for those who are close. If you would like to help in other ways, please reach out.

Thank you for your love, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
