Hi everyone,

On September 26th, I will be donating my kidney to Tish, who has been battling kidney failure and undergoing dialysis due to APOL1-related kidney disease. This has been a long, difficult journey for her, and I’m honored to be a match and help give her a second chance at a healthy life.

While the transplant offers Tish new hope, the road to recovery won’t be easy and unfortunately, she doesn’t have access to any kind of paid time off. That means while she's healing, she’ll be without income at a time when her focus should be on resting and getting stronger.

I’m creating this fundraiser to help cover Tish’s basic living expenses, things like rent, food, utilities, and transportation to medical appointments while she recovers from surgery and begins this new chapter.
