Tirrell "Ryn" Rynkiewicz (for some of you it might be the first time seeing my whole name) here.

If you have been in the Hampton Roads and Richmond motorcycle club scene in the past 15-20 years we have probably crossed paths once or twice. You might have met me as a member of American Cruisers, Ascension, or a Merciless Soul. I might have fixed something for you, maybe we grew up together, or maybe we met thru the 3 greatest accomplishments I have in life my kids! I've always tried to be a decent person. I've supported a bunch of different causes over the years, but this time the cause is me.

On memorial day 2023, I unfortunately had a Widowmaker heart attack. If it doesn't kill you, it does a lot of damage. In my case it has slowly been killing me over the past 2 years. If you have seen me in person since March you have seen me walking with a cane and until something is done no longer really able to work. That brings me to where I'm at currently.

On Tuesday July 8th I was admitted to the hospital at University of Pennsylvania for evaluation for a heart transplant. Since then, these guys have performed test after testing, somewhere around 300 different tests. I have tubes coming out damn near everywhere. I now have an Impella installed, which is a mini heart pump hooked up to a computer, to pump the blood for my heart.

Since being here I've learned my condition had deteriorated to the point, I would no have most likely made it through the summer.

I am being listed as a level 2 candidate, there are 6 levels, and it goes from 6 to 1 with 1 being the most important. Basically I'm in this hospital now until a compatible heart is found and the transplant is done. Myself and my support team, my 2 daughters, have been asked to relocate here for the next year at least to go through the surgery, recovery, rehab, and extreme monitoring that takes places over the first year.

Hopefully it will all work out and one day you see me doing the things I do. To be honest, this is to hopefully get the chance to see my 14 year old son graduate high school. Watching him excell in school, in sports, and morph into the young man he has become has been amazing to be part of. I'm looking for to be able to see what he does in the next 4 years of high school!

If you are in a place in your life to help, it would be greatly appreciated. If you can't, I understand and ask that remember to live every day like there is no tomorrow. Sitting here right now would suck a lot more big list of things I wish I had done. Don't take life for granted.

That's my story up til now. Not sure how the next chapter gets played out, but I'm here for the ride until I'm not.
