Our hearts are broken. My my family and I lost our home of 10 years in the recent Malibu fires. In a matter of moments, everything we grew up with—our safe haven, our irreplaceable childhood keepsakes, the walls that held our laughter, dreams, and late-night talks—was reduced to ash.
The place that held our happiest memories is gone.
We didn’t just lose a house. We lost the only home we ever truly knew. The baby blankets I still slept with, the birthday letters from our family members, best friends and loved ones, the photos of us as a family, family heirlooms that been past down for generations and some things that was giving by grandparents who are no longer here —things that can never be replaced. It feels like life childhood was stolen from us in the flames.
Insurance isn't covering any of the things we lost. Everything we once owned, bought, and saved up for and got is not being covered. It's been a really tough time trying to get any support from them, and we're left without any of the help we expected.life that changed overnight. We never imagined we’d be in this position, but we are asking for help in rebuilding what was lost.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help us get back on our feet—whether it’s replacing necessities, finding stability, or creating a new space that we can call home again.
If you can’t donate, please consider sharing our story. Your kindness, love, and support mean the world to us during this devastating time.
Hey everyone,
Quick update! Thanks to your generous donations, I was able to get some essential items like hair brushes, nail clippers, eyeglasses, socks, warm clothes, a bed, and new sheets. Your support has made a huge difference in my life, and I can't thank you enough.
Much love,
Tina Naeimiyan
