Hi, my name is Tina Taylor. On October 2, 2023, I found out I had multiple cysts on my gums and within my mouth. That day, my dentist informed me that my only option at that point was to pull my entire top row of teeth. Thankfully, I was able to get a denture to hold me over, but the denture turned out to be highly uncomfortable to wear for more than a few minutes. The denture is not only uncomfortable due to the way it fits, but there was also a wrong fitting that causes my gums to swell up, blister, and become uncomfortable to wear.
Due to this daily reminder of my teeth issues, I am looking to get dental implants to help give some normalcy to my life and feel more comfortable without the pain. On top of the fact that I’m not even 40 and I have to wear dentures, it is not only uncomfortable but embarrassing. I did not expect this to happen to my life. I am a single mom trying to take care of my two beautiful children who I thank God for their grace and support throughout this process. Praise God, through it all I have remained in prayer and stood strong in my faith. Fortunately, I did receive a grant to cover a large portion of my implant procedure but I am still short. At this point, I am reaching out and asking for help to achieve a decent smile to help keep my light shining.
