For the past two months, Tina Zimmer (of Switchblade Films) has been tirelessly advocating for herself through a challenging medical journey. After frequent hospital visits, paracentesis procedures, and her own persistence (with expediting authorizations and appointments), Tina finally received a devastating diagnosis: Stage 4 ovarian cancer.

Since then, Tina has undergone three intense procedures, implanting a port for chemo, and while she is healing (with incredible strength), she now prepares to begin chemotherapy next month. This next stage of treatment will be brutal, painful, horrific, and demanding.

Tina is an artist, photographer, and director, and a deeply creative force. Her work is surreal and fascinating - it has inspired, shaped, supported, and uplifted countless artists and communities. She has always shown up for others by offering her advice, vision, labor, support, sense of humor, and heart to help bring so many creative projects to life. Now, she needs her community to show up for her.
