Tina & Tuna are relocating to Colorado!

Hi everyone! Myself and my soul cat Tuna are moving to Colorado. We have been offered an opportunity for a beautiful room in a house on a half-acre of property in the mountains that is affordable and about 5x the space as we have now in our cute but tiny South Philly rowhome. We will be moving in with my brother and are very excited for our next chapter. The mountains have been calling me for three years now, and I have outgrown Philly. I will miss my friends, family, and clients; however, I know that this move will be a life-changing opportunity for myself and my old lady fur girl.

I have several different job prospects, and with my experience, I know I will find a position quickly, but the financial aspect of relocating for the two of us is more costly than anticipated. I have experienced a financial hardship that drained my savings account in the summertime because a necessary unpaid medical leave of absence from my job left me unable to pay my bills or buy groceries. Thankfully, two trusted and dear friends were able to assist me then, as I hesitate to make crowdfunding pages for myself; it's usually that I'm crowdfunding for others.

I have calculated and recalculated the cost for my relocation (Moving most of my things by car/Uhaul but shipping media, gas, safe hotels while driving cross country, weather proofing my car for safety while driving cross country, other car prep appts, and more)

including the cost of sustaining my treatment & medications during my transition to insurance at my next employer. Anything extra will help with groceries and other items Tuna and I will need to settle into our new home while I am waiting for my first paycheck.
