I am an old friend of Tina. I am a contractor and help her with many aspects of her home. I have known Tina for over 30 years.

Tina has always been a kind and caring person. She is a very hard worker. She keeps her home in tip-top shape, always clean & orderly.

Tina works as a server at Art's Deli on Ventura Blvd. in Studio City, California. She has worked there for 10 years. If you have dined there, you probably remember her. Blonde, pretty, efficient, and friendly.

On October 8th of this month, she had a fall at work. Apparently, Tina collided with another person at a blind corner. Tina fell back like a board and struck her head on the floor. The floor was vinyl over concrete. She fractured her skull and got bleeding on her brain. She was admitted to Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys. I picked her up on Sunday the 12th and brought her to her home.

She was given two prescriptions, which I filled for her on Monday morning, the 13th. Tina took one of the drugs for blood pressure (hydrochlorothiazide). In a few hours, Tina passed out at her kitchen table. I didn't know what was going on. I did not know if she was having a seizure, passing out (multiple times in succession), or what. I yelled out the window & her neighbor called 911. The paramedics showed up quickly (thank God) as I was continuing to revive her. She was taken to Providence St. Joseph's Hospital in Burbank. That's where it was determined that the cause was an adverse reaction to the drug.

Tina was released on Thursday, the 16th of October. I brought her to her home and as of today, Friday, she seems to be her old self again.

There is no way of knowing if all she is going through will have long-term effects. She is concerned about getting back to work. Like many people, she depends on that paycheck. She does not know I am setting up this GoFundMe for her. I'm sure I'll be in trouble for the hospital pics!

Tina is an unashamed practicing Christian. Please pray for Tina's full recovery. Any help will be appreciated!
