Our family’s world has been turned upside down in an instant.

My sister in law, Tina and her husband, Jale are a young family with 2 small children, Helena who is 4 & Achileas who is 11 months and they are also expecting their third baby in December.

What should be an exciting and joyful time preparing to welcome their new baby has instead become a heartbreaking and terrifying journey full of uncertainty and anxiety.

At only 32, Jale has suddenly been diagnosed with advanced heart failure and has been in the ICU for 4 weeks now receiving treatment and being closely monitored by his medical team. At this stage, we simply don’t know when he will be well enough to come home, or what the future will look like for him and their family.

Because of the severity of his condition, he won’t be able to work or drive at all which means their family has suddenly lost the income they rely on. With two little children at home, a baby on the way, medical expenses and everyday living costs, the financial pressure is becoming overwhelming on top of everything they are already experiencing emotionally.

Tina Is trying to navigate an unimaginable situation, caring for their two young children, preparing for the arrival of their baby, supporting her husband while he is in ICU, and facing an uncertain future, all while six months pregnant.

No family should have to worry about how they will keep a roof over their heads or pay their bills while fighting through something like this.

We are asking for help to give their family some breathing room during an incredibly difficult time. Every donation, no matter how small, will help with essential living expenses, medical and travel costs, preparing for their new baby, and helping them get through the period ahead while her husband focuses on his health and recovery.
