Support Tina Bonds' Fight Against Colon Cancer

I am Deanna Frost and I am raising funds for my Daughter Tina Bonds. Tina needs your help. She has been diagnosed with Stage 3C colon cancer. Most of you know she has been going through Chemo treatments to shrink the tumor so that it can be removed. The tumor has broken through the colon wall and has attached to her uterus and cervix. The last scan shows that the tumor has shrunk to half its size which is great news. She has two more rounds of chemo one today and another one in two weeks. She will then have 3 to 4 weeks to recover from chemo before she is able to have surgery to remove the tumor. They will be removing a portion of her colon, lymph nodes, uterus, cervix, ovaries and any part of the bladder if it looks affected. After surgery she will have 6-8 weeks of recovery. So, it will be about 4 months before she is strong enough to return to full time work again.

If you know Tina, you know she has been a trooper and has pushed through this with all the strength she has. SHE IS A HARD WORKER AND A FIGHTER AND HAS A SPIRIT THAT WILL NEVER GIVE UP. The problem is her body, however, isn’t cooperating and it won’t keep up with all her plans. She has been able to work part time during chemo. She has been taking on as much work as her body can handle and will continue to do that as things come up. But she is now at the end of this, and her body is feeling very weak.

Tina would never ask for help for herself, but I am asking on her behalf. I know the economy is tough and I know some of you may be unable to give anything and that is understandable. If you can help her with a donation it will go to help cover her house payment, car payments and monthly expenses for the next few months. Any amount would make a big difference and would be appreciated. I would also ask that you keep her in your prayers daily because what she has left to do is not easy and she is getting tired. We need people to stand with us in prayer to see this through. We love all of you and all the help and encouragement you have given us along the way has meant so much.
