Tina Bakx is a beloved mother, wife, sister and friend to all that know her. She is someone that gives her heart and soul to anyone in need and now, she needs our help.

Early April of 2025 Tina went into the doctors with what was thought to be a minor cut under her tongue, she was given a prescription to help with the infection and swelling but a couple weeks later she found herself in the emergency room as this minor cut had now spread about an inch through her mouth. The ER doctor came back with the most unfortunate news and she was then diagnosed with Oral Cancer. She had just started a new job in sales at the time and had only been working for 3 weeks when a short week later was told she was no longer able to communicate with people due to the Oral Cancer. Unfortunately due to her and her husband not working they do not have any extended medical, leaving all the pain medication and travel expenses to come from out of pocket. As of late June Tina has now been diagnosed with Stage 3 Oral and Lymph Node Cancer. Unfortunately we have been told this is an aggressive cancer and are we are hoping to get into surgery as soon as possible. We have also been made aware she will start Radiation Therapy once she has recovered from the extensive surgery. The treatment, prescription and travel expenses are not covered with our basic medical healthcare.
