Support Tim Wold's Treatment

Tim was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia in 2011. The current medication the doctors have had him on has started losing its effectiveness. This is the second medication to fail. His white blood count is rising, and he has enlarged lymph nodes. These are indications that he needs a new treatment. Unfortunately, there are no new drugs available that will work for him. The oncologist in Seattle has set him up to start at trial of Car- T therapy in July.

 

Kim and Tim are trying to stay in patient care housing for patients and their caregivers. They need to be there for 2-3 months, so their temporary housing wlll run about $7k-$12k, depending on how long he has to stay. Even worse, his insurance may not cover the treatment fully because it's still in the experimental phase. The cost could be a gut punch for them.

 

We are trying to raise $25k for support.

 

Tim is a son, husband, dad, grandpa, brother, brother-in-law, artist, and so much more. Tim delivered mail for 35 years and retired in 2019. He shares his musical and artistic abilities with all of us. He's always shown his warm heart to all his family and friends.
