Support Tim's Road to Recovery

Tuesday, May 22, 2024 Timothy (Tim) Myers was in a head on collusion in Philipsburg, PA. He was life flighted to UMPC Trauma Center in Altoona. He had an emergency surgery on his left ankle/leg, due to the ankle being almost completely dismembered. He will need another surgery in the near future on it. He also has a broken radius bone in his left arm. Has a concussion, serveal cuts of glass, and bruises.

He is as of now still at UMPC. Than he will be going to a rehabilitation center that will do wound care of his external device until his swelling goes down and he can get back into see the surgeon. He will have the surgery and then will go to rehab, then hopefully that goes well, then he should be able to go home. They will need put in a ramp, and few other things for him whenever they are able bring him home. We won't know when that will be, just all depends on everything moving forward and improving each day. He is lucky to be alive.

It will be a long recovery. Tim is a veteran, who only has VA insurance, and with their only income being from his wife, Beth, which I know she will be taking time off to be by his side. I know money will be a tight, and I wanted to help, plus I want them to focus on Tim's recovery and not money right now. If you can even if it is a small amount or a share, it would be greatly appreciated.

These two people would help anyone else in need, and is a valued member of their community, it's hard to see them going thru this.
