Hey everybody. I’m reaching out to you guys to let you know. I've been in Bali the past 10 days. It's been a great trip, but it was cut short by an unfortunate event. Basically leaving a resort. I got picked up by a taxi driver who was in a bit of a hurry and he was trying to help me transfer from my wheelchair into his vehicle. I asked him not to. I started helping myself. He then decided to help me anyways, maybe language barrier. My leg got caught in the seat and ended up getting hyper extended and I had to literally yell at him and end up basically just dropping backwards into my chair to get him to stop pushing me.

At that point the damage had already been done. due to that hyperextention and force. He actually broke my femur. We didn't realize it for a couple days after. It took a while for the swelling to come along, and we actually thought it was some kind of bacterial infection. So got to the hospital, and got treatment, and diagnosed the x-ray, and, uh, yeah, they, they recommended surgery, but, you know, I don't have medical coverage here. So they basically been trying to stabilize me enough to be able to fly.

Through this I've developed deep vein trombosis, and that has been something they've been afraid to let me fly with. I’m actually having a blood transfusion right now. They're hoping with the blood thinners and the blood transfusion. I'll be in a safe enough state to be able to fly.

So, basically, I'm calling my community to see if you guys can help me through this GoFundMe. Um, to help me tackle some of these costs for the care here. I was here for 10 days for the trip. I've spent half the trip, 5 days in the hospital and I've had to have multiple tests and procedures done. So the costs have added up quite a bit, and I'm also gonna be down after I do surgery in the U.S. with some recovery time. I do have full coverage insurance in the US, so my surgery and stuff will be covered. But yeah, I'm basically calling to my community to see if you guys can help me through this rough time that I'm going through. If you can help, if you're in a place where you can, I really appreciate it. I love all you guys. I appreciate everything you've done for me in the past, and yeah, if you can help, please do. My friend Chanelle Aryasingha was able to put the hospital bill on her credit card. I’m making this to get her paid back whatever I can.
