Tim, my husband, has always been passionate about working on old cars. He opened his automotive shop to help others keep their project cars running and make horsepower. For years, he was the go-to person for friends and family, always ready to lend a hand—whether it was fixing a car, hanging a light fixture, or just being there when someone needed help. If you didn't see him in his shop, you saw him riding his Harley Davidson or his quad in the desert, never slowing down and always living life to the fullest.
Earlier this year, Tim started feeling unwell, and after a visit to urgent care, he was admitted to the hospital. We learned that his cancer, which had been in remission for five years, had returned and was now affecting his heart, lungs, and intestines. He has gone through three cycles of chemotherapy, but unfortunately, the cancer is not responding well. Because of his health, Tim had to close his shop, leaving us with only my income to cover our bills and house payment. Our medical insurance is covered through my employer, but with only one income, things have become very tight.
Tim will soon be undergoing Car T-Cell therapy at City of Hope in Duarte, CA, which is over 100 miles from our home. With high gas prices and the added travel expenses, our financial situation has become even more challenging. We are reaching out for help so Tim can focus on his treatment and recovery without the added stress of financial worries. Any support means the world to us and will help us get through this difficult time. Thank you for considering a donation and for keeping Tim in your thoughts.
