Many of you know that Scott’s brother, Tim, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in May of 2024. He had emergency surgery to remove tumors and has been fighting it with chemotherapy and radiation but recently suffered a fall that resulted in his cervical spine separating from his thoracic spine, requiring additional surgeries and further complicating his recovery.

He’s been unable to work since his original diagnosis and, despite applying for SSI, his claim was denied and is currently under appeal. In the meantime, the financial strain is growing, with rent and medical bills piling up.
