On December 1st, 2025, our lives changed in an instant.


Timothy Allen Patrick was involved in a devastating motor vehicle accident that left him with severe spinal injuries. Due to the seriousness of the trauma, Tim was life-flighted to ECMC Hospital in Buffalo, NY, where doctors performed major spinal surgery and stabilize his condition.


After weeks of critical care and recovery, Tim reached a point where he was strong enough to take the next step in his healing journey. In late December, he was transported by ambulance to UPMC Mercy Rehabilitation Facility in Pittsburgh, PA, one of the leading centers for inpatient spinal cord injury rehabilitation.

Today, Tim remains at UPMC Mercy, working tirelessly through daily therapy sessions. Every day is a challenge, but also a victory. His determination, resilience, and will to regain independence continue to inspire everyone around him. Doctors expect Tim to return home in the coming months, but his recovery is far from over.

A sudden, life-altering injury brings overwhelming financial strain — even with insurance. The costs continue to grow, and recovery does not end when Tim leaves the hospital.

Words From the Family

Tim has faced multiple major injuries in his life, including multiple spinal cord injuries. The fact that he’s still with us today shows that he is a fighter. He shows up every day, pushing through pain and uncertainty with strength and courage. Tim says it every day that he knows he’s still with us for a reason, and while he’s in search of what that reason is, that is what’s driving him to fight. We are endlessly grateful for the love, kindness, and support shown by everyone surrounding him during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you for standing with Tim on this journey.

Organizer Statement

This fundraiser is organized by Kevin Woodruff on behalf of Timothy Allen Patrick to help cover expenses related to his spinal cord injury and recovery. Funds will be used responsibly and solely for Ongoing medical bills and rehabilitation expenses, Daily living expenses for Tim, Transportation costs to and from medical appointments and therapy, Home modifications needed to ensure a safe and accessible living environment, and Medical equipment and long-term care needs Tim’s medical care, living needs, and rehabilitation-related costs.
