Timothy Cook was a soul full of adventure, leaving home early and always seeking big adventures with HIS FAMILY. His spirit brought us together, and his love for exploring new places inspired everyone around him. Timothy recently passed away, and our family is heartbroken as we try to honor his memory in a way that reflects his adventurous life.
We are raising funds to help cover the expenses for Timothy’s physical body, including transportation of his remains from Idaho to Colorado. These funds will also support travel and lodging for his sister Suzy, who will journey from Illinois to Idaho to recover his remains and modest belongings. Further travel and lodging into Colorado for the memorial service will be supported, including transportation and lodging for his four nephews (two in Illinois, one in Pennsylvania, one in Texas) and his close friend Glenn to Colorado for the memorial service. This support will help bring Timothy’s loved ones together to celebrate his life and begin the grieving process as a family.
Suzy has been struggling with additional recent losses in her immediate family. Tim and Suzy’s mom recently passed 8 months ago, and their Stepdad is currently on hospice. The need for support will ensure that immediate care for Stepdad is maintained seamlessly while Suzy is away. To all who donate, our sincere gratitude and appreciation cannot be expressed enough. Bringing Timothy together with his family and friends is how God meant for us to begin the grieving process.
Special Message from Glenn: I’ve heard it said that a good friend knows your life stories yet, a Best Friend helped you write them. I’m fortunate that Timothy Cook was co-author of a lot those of stories. My family has heard most of them, lived through many, and always suggested I put them in a book. Well, maybe it is time. I’ve heard from friends and family, and that helps us all begin to start healing, yet we’re not done taking care of our friend and brother. We need to get him resting with family. We need to close that gap between brother and sister once and for all. Tim is here in Boise, Idaho; his sister Suzy is still living in Illinois where they were born. She is coming to take Tim home to family to rest. Meanwhile we are putting together a memorial service in Colorado for all his friends there. I will make a trip to Illinois later this summer and track some of you down there. If you have the ability to help us make this happen, I would be forever grateful. Glenn
Thank you Everyone for the support and kindness. We are collecting stories from those people who connected in some way with Tim for the Memorial Service. You can send your stories through GoFundMe’s Messaging system.
