My dad, Timothy Brown, survived a house fire in the early morning on March 17th. The whole house as well as his car are completely gone. His companion dog Buddy unfortunately did not make it. My dad barely escaped in time; the firefighter I spoke with said another minute likely would've changed the outcome.

He escaped from the second story window and ended up with cracked ribs, bruises, cuts and scrapes, and a second degree burn on the back of his upper left arm. He's in the ICU on oxygen, receiving breathing treatments, and being monitored.

He's a very great man and loving father and grandfather, so I'm hoping to ease some of the stress he's going to have after he leaves the hospital. We've collected a lot of clothing for him already and I was able to replace his glasses, but he's got medications and other things to replace, and will have medical bills to take care of.
