Tim update:
The biggest concern after surgery was a clot forming in the surgically repaired
arterial blood vessels in Tim's hand. On Monday,
the surgeon told me he's no longer concerned about that as an issue. Infection is also very low as a concern.
Tim met with the hand therapist, who constructed a new splint and provided exercises for him to start immediately.
He will have a long road to go to get some degree of functionality with his hand. He is not expected to get back to normal, but everything has gone very well. And we hope he will continue to surpass expectations. We are very grateful that he was able to keep all 4 fingers, and his thumb was really not affected.
Timmy Grumblatt was involved in a serious accident at work. 4 fingers on his right hand were completely severed. He has undergone surgery which involved reattaching the fingers with rods. More surgeries and extensive therapy is expected over the next 6 months. This is a life altering accident. Timmy is engaged to be married early next year. Any prayers and financial support would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to share!
