Support Tim Walker's Recovery

As many of you may have heard, our dad, Tim Walker, had a massive heart attack on Saturday, January 18th. It happened in Charleston, SC while we were here for Lizzie’s dissertation defense. We are so lucky to have been in a city with such a great hospital like MUSC whose doctors and nurses did an amazing job at saving our dad’s life. He’s still in the hospital right now, but out of ICU, and improving every day. Mom has been staying almost every night with Dad at the hospital and we’ve been staying in a hotel and going to visit every day.

My siblings and I wanted to make this (Mom and Dad have no idea) in order to make this whole situation less stressful on them once they get out of the hospital. They will both be out of work for a bit as we get Dad back on the mend. Dad is the toughest guy we know, so we know he’ll be back at it soon.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out and sent their prayers and good wishes. We have definitely felt the love from everyone this week!
