Jonathan Sherrill here on behalf of my brother, Tim Sherrill. Thank you so much to all of Tim's neighbors, friends, co-workers, and family that have requested a GoFundMe page as another way to support Tim on his recovery journey... you know who you are! And we're grateful for all of the encouragement and thoughtful inquiries over how to best support Tim while navigating these critical and high-risk stages of his injuries from his motorcycle accident on May 29th. We hope that this page will serve as a resource for all of you to be updated on his progress to date and contribute to what we all hope will be a full recovery!

Thankfully, he was wearing his protective gear from head to toe as it's nothing short of a miracle that he's still with us today. Tim sustained a traumatic brain injury to his frontal and temporal lobe; a C2 fracture of his neck and damaged artery; multiple fractures to his upper spine and lower neck; and a fractured humerus. Tim was in the intensive care unit at IU Bloomington Hospital for eleven days and then transferred to the Neuro Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana. He was in-patient at RHI for another ten days and is nearly finished with his outpatient assessments to start his continued outpatient therapy track. The great news is that he is trending incredibly well! So many of you have helped already and he is tremendously grateful! Tim will be experiencing several months of intense outpatient therapy in an effort to return to normal life.

No doubt that medical expenses will be extensive so any monetary support will be greatly appreciated as well as offers to help with his transportation to/from outpatient therapy; ongoing caretaking of his home; and meals together with continued encouragement to him and his amazing four kids.
