Support Tim Mullins in His Battle with Cancer

Hello my name is Crystal Mullins-Kerns. This gofund me is for my dad Tim Mullins. He was diagnosed with Stage 2 Lung Cancer in late 2023. As many may know if you have seen him in the last couple of years he lost a significant amount of weight and strength and they couldn't understand why. He finally received a diagnosis after several testing and biopsy and found a spot on his right upper lung. We then discovered it was attached to his ribs. He has completed his chemotherapy and just had surgery the last few weeks. This last Tuesday we had to take him back to urgent care as he was having trouble breathing, eating and moving around. He was sent directly over to Sentara hospital in woodbridge and has since then been transferred to Holy Cross Hospital. His lung collapsed because of fluid and pneumonia. He has has a chest tube on to help drain fluids and he is currently on oxygen. They are keeping him In icu as his blood pressure keeps dropping. I wanted to help start a fundraiser for them as my mom has been the only one working since November and the bills are continuing and with only one low income it is hard to keep everything paid. She is constantly having to leave or take off to take my dad between doctors appts and hospital. The one thing I think back to as a child is I remember my dad always helping others in any way he could whether it be buy driving out in a snow storm to get food for family, pulling someone out of a ditch, giving rides for people to work, loan money, voluntering as a firefighter, teaching people to drive and just genuinely try to be there to help them. I want to try and give back in the time he is in need just like he did for others. If you would like to help in other ways I know they would really appreciate it.
