Calling all friends and family of Tim Monroe. If you’re able to help in a time of need, it would be much appreciated! Even gas cards would help out so much! I spoke with Tracey earlier and this is what she stated
About 4 months ago Tim started having very bad ear aches and it was so bad it was plugging up his ears. He went to the Urgent Care several times, the ER several times and still did not get any relief. The family doctor sent him to an ENT which in turn sent him to a Neurologist thinking he had a tumor. No tumor was found. Then the Saturday after Thanksgiving he started to have numbness on the right side of his face. We took him to the ER and a CT scan was run and nothing was found so they thought it was just a migraine. They wanted him to stay over night but we had the grandkids at our house celebrating Thanksgiving and he wanted to be with them. By Monday afternoon he was showing signs of a stroke (right side of his face paralyzed and sagging and weakness in his right arm and leg). We took him back to the ER and they kept him in Memorial hospital for a week and ran several tests and still could not find a stroke so he got transported to Riverside Hospital. He is presently still there and has several tests run but no answers yet but is still presenting the same stroke like symptoms. It is very doubtful he’ll be able to return to work and he will have a long road of physical, occupational, and speech therapy to try to regain what he has lost. Before that starts though he will remain in the hospital until the problem is found.
