What was supposed to be a day filled with celebration became the scariest day of our lives.
January 24th 2026 we had planned to celebrate my dad’s (Tim Kummer) birthday with family and friends, but Mother Nature had other plans. So we decided to cancel. The snow storm was coming in. Unfortunately January 24th, on my dad’s birthday he had a stroke.
He was hospitalized and is now in a rehabilitation facility, where he is working incredibly hard every day to get back to his normal self.
My dad is one of the hardest working people you’ll ever meet. A devoted father, husband, brother, son, papa, and friend who would give anything to help someone in need. Because of the stroke, he is currently unable to work, and my mom has been by his side throughout his recovery, which has also caused her to miss work.
We are raising funds to help cover essential expenses for the next couple of months, including their mortgage, utilities, gas for traveling to rehab and any medical appointments, and any additional medical bills that come with stroke recovery.
Any donation, no matter the amount, truly helps. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing, it means more than you know.
Thank you for supporting our family during this difficult time.
With gratitude,
Ashley & Family
