Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and father-in-law, Tim Honeycutt, has been living with pulmonary fibrosis for 5 to 7 years. This devastating lung disease slowly takes away the ability to breathe. Tim was officially diagnosed three years ago, and as his condition progressed, he gradually required more and more oxygen to manage daily life. He had to stop working three years ago because of his condition, but instead of losing hope, he became even more determined to fight for more time with his family. To qualify for the lung transplant list, Tim needed to lose a significant amount of weight. With incredible perseverance, he lost 175 pounds by walking on the treadmill three days a week and cycling in the gym three times a week, all while still relying on oxygen. On September 1, 2025, Tim’s determination paid off. After years of waiting and preparation, he received the life-saving gift of a double lung transplant.
Tim is 59 years old, and for the past 30 years he has been married to the love of his life, Pam. Together, they have raised two wonderful children, who are now married.
While the surgery was successful, the journey is far from over. Tim must remain in Houston, Texas, for 6 months to a year so that he can receive the specialized care, rehabilitation, and follow-up treatments necessary for his recovery. The financial burden of housing, food, travel, and medical expenses during this time is overwhelming, and that is why we are asking for your help. Every donation will go directly toward covering these expenses, allowing Tim to focus fully on healing and rebuilding his strength so he can enjoy more years with his family—years of breathing freely and continuing the love story he and Pam have shared for three decades.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and generosity. Please consider donating and sharing Tim’s story, so together we can support him on this journey of healing and hope.
