Support Tim Herbert's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
On March 3, 2025, Tim Herbert had spinal fusion surgery from C1 to T1. Since then, he has been dealing with nerve damage and periodic paralysis from the neck down with a trip to the ICU. He's working hard to regain the use of the muscles in his arms and legs in an acute rehab, all this without losing his sense of humor and respect for everyone he comes across. He works hard at his therapies, is shocking them with his progress, and is well-loved by all the staff he's privileged to meet.
Tim is a regional fleet truck driver with his lovely wife Dawn and 12-year-old autistic son Matthew. They are navigating his care and wondering what their future will look like. Dawn is a stay-at-home mom so she can homeschool and care for Matthew. She’s not sure what kind of care Tim will need when he comes home.
Leading up to the surgery, Tim was in extreme pain and could not work since September 29, 2024. It's been physically, emotionally, and financially exhausting for the whole family. The future is uncertain, but sure to be challenging.
Let’s send our love and prayers to this devoted husband and father who has a heart of gold and who loves to spread smiles and happiness even when his body isn't cooperating. Please consider donating to this sweet family’s needs. They would be beyond grateful for any contribution to their living expenses and ever-mounting medical bills. And please share this with others who might feel moved to help as well. Thank you so much!
