I am reaching out to ask for support for my stepdad, Tim Davis Sr., who is facing a major surgery and a tough journey ahead. He has oral cancer that has spread to the lymph nodes in his throat, and doctors will be removing tumors as well as part of his jaw. After surgery, he will also need chemotherapy. Sadly, the insurance he had through my mom’s annuity after her passing no longer covers him, leaving my sister, brother and me trying to carry this heavy burden on our own.
