Support Tim Currey's Fight Against Cancer

My name is Tim Currey. I am battling tonsil/throat cancer. I had 36 radiation treatments that destroyed my taste buds, and I was unable to eat solid food for 2 months and lost 50 lbs. My treatment ended at the end of October, and I had some serious setbacks since... passing out and injuring myself, and now I have a dangerous heart arrhythmia that I will have a procedure on in January. I am currently waiting to have the first PET scan. This will show if the treatment was successful. I consider myself in cancer purgatory right now. The huge medical bills have started to come in, and it is making it difficult for us to take care of our family.

I am married to Anamalia Currey, and we have two children. The illness has been causing my 15-year-old to have psychological issues. My four-year-old is very confused and tries so hard to make me feel better. My wife is exhausted and has to pick up many extra shifts at work. We do not get to see her often.

These medical bills are heading us toward bankruptcy. We already have bills close to $10,000, and this is just a small sample of the bills to come.
