To say Tim (age 37) is an amazing man is an understatement. A bit of hard times have fallen on him but he keeps his hope & faith through it all.
For those of you that don’t know him. He found his true love in the recent years, marrying her, blending their families, each with four kids, making a home for the 10 of them, and eventually having one of their own, who is now nine months old. They have full custody of 5 of the 9 kids and shared custody and paying child support for his 4. A few years ago, he was working multiple jobs as security and switched his focus, joining the apprenticeship with the local electrician union. Focused on what would be financial security and benefits for his family until retirement and beyond. A Marine veteran suffering from multiple physical issues. He has permanent constant pain as a result of an IED explosion. About 9 months ago, while at work, his back issue caused temporary paralysis while at work sending him to the ER and to have an urgent surgery. Luckily, he was able to recover & return to work after a few months. Unfortunately the VA considered his back “fixed” and reduced his disability benefits that he was receiving for it. Well, a couple weeks ago that same issue returned, luckily not to the point of paralyzation, but he had to be removed from work again. At this point, they’re unsure if he’ll be able to return to the apprenticeship or work at all. Luckily is wife does work but his loss of wages (reduction of his VA disabilities & his payroll) has proven to be too much to make ends meet.
Tim is a proud hardworking person who is supportive to everyone not just his family, we know this first hand. He also struggles to ask for help. With his faith in God and determination, he will do his best to get the bills will be paid, see to it no child support payments will be missed and everyone will be fed. Recently one of their cars needed repair, more $$$. That is it, we thought, and wanted to do more, so we decided we would ask for help for him. He deserves this help, as do many of the veterans out there that gave so much of themselves for all of us.
If you can spare even $5 it would help Tim and his family stay afloat just a little bit longer while he figures out what tomorrow looks like it would be appreciated.
