Tilda, my daughter, has dreamed of becoming an Interior Designer for years. She has worked tirelessly to earn her place in one of the nation’s top programs at Auburn University, maintaining a 4.0 GPA through dedication and hard work. This summer, she has the incredible opportunity to study abroad in Ariccia, Italy, as part of Auburn’s Interior Design program. While we’ve managed to secure her plane ticket and are hopeful that student loans will cover tuition, our family is currently living on only one parent income, which makes covering additional expenses a challenge. Tilda needs support for travel within Europe—trains, flights, and hotels on weekends—as well as some food for the summer. These costs are essential for her to fully participate in the program and make the most of this life-changing experience.

This program will give Tilda extra insight into the rich history of interior design and art in Europe. She will complete the program with a minor in International Studies, setting her apart from her peers and giving her a unique edge in her future career. Studying abroad will teach her independence, confidence, and provide cultural immersion, enriching her academics and opening doors to many career advantages. Tilda has always known that studying abroad is an important part of her educational journey, and this opportunity is truly a dream come true—one she has been working toward since she started at Auburn.
