on July 11th, I found Tiger, a beautiful 2yo Cane Corso roaming the street without an owner or any identification. with the help of my neighbor Troy, we were able to get him to safety and in my car. I took him to the vet to get him checked for a microchip, he luckily had one and we spent the day trying to get in contact with his owners. the vet called me late afternoon, informing me that the “owners” had not only adopted him less than a month ago, but they read the text sent to them at 11am, and proceeded to never respond or reach out. at this point, we are treating the situation as an abandonment and are searching for a new forever home for him, we have a couple prospects lined up, but Tiger needs to be housed, fed, checked up on etc and I will be undertaking his care until we find him a forever home or I will end up adopting him myself.

in the meantime, as this was such a surprise to us all, we are in need of financial help to get him all the things he will need to be comfortable (including lots of food as he is a biggggg boy) any donations would be a massive help as I am definitely not financially prepared or able to do this on my own. I will post updates as we have them and thank you all for any support you can give to us, and know that Tiger is so safe now, and will never forget how loved he is.
