Support Tiger Bay Cafe Staff After Hurricane Helene

Our lives were turned upside down overnight. Hurricane Helene has taken a lot from all of us here in Western North Carolina. With no electricity, no running water, no gasoline, and no cell phone service for weeks now, life is becoming harder each day to survive, but we are surviving. Some of our team members' homes were flooded; some team members had trees and power lines fall on their homes. Some team members had no choice but to evacuate with their infant children to seek refuge after the storm because of no electricity, no running water, and no cell phone service. Life has been hard for us all here in Asheville, but it feels like the restaurant and hospitality industry has been hit the hardest. Not only are we currently not able to create any revenue, but our future potential revenue has been lost due to a lack of tourists who are no longer going to have a reason to visit Asheville. It truly is heartbreaking. Not knowing when we will be operational again made me create this GoFundMe today for my staff at Tiger Bay Cafe. If you will find it in your heart to donate, 100% of the funds will go directly to our staff to help them get back on their feet during this difficult time.
